Fun Indoor Activities
After submerging yourself in the baths of Arima Onsen to recover from daily fatigue, it is fun to play with your children. The water temperature of the indoor pool used throughout the year is adjusted every season according to climate conditions, and there are bathing suits and toys such as necessary floatation devices available for free rental. Swimming suits for babies are available in many sizes (charge of 200 yen) along with adult swimming suits (S - LL).
After taking a dip in the pool, how about enjoying Japanese-style karaoke? Since we have furnished toys, a bookcase filled with illustrated books, and even a baby bed in the tatami-floored karaoke room for your children's enjoyment, it is anxiety-free environment where small children will even fall asleep. In ordinary daily life, mothers cannot usually enjoy karaoke and be able to take care of their children at the same time. Other activities include a game arcade corner, a billiards table and other playground equipment for rent along with playing cards for sale. By providing these activities, we hope that you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves on your family excursion and create a few precious memories.
Our indoor swimming pool (10ｍ x 4m) is available for our guests all year round. The water temperature is adjusted in accordance with the season. Families and couples can enjoy the pool. In addition, bathing suits, bath towels, pool toys, and flotation devices are available at the front desk for use free of charge. Swim pants for babies (sizes: 80, 90, and Large) can be purchased for 200 yen at our Gift Shop. The pool is open from 7:00 to 9:00 and 15:00 to 22:00.
As with those for adults, there are 3 swimsuit sizes are available for children (school swimsuits) in sizes of 100cm, 120cm, and 140cm. Please inquiry at the front desk for use.
Swim goggles are available for free rental from the front desk.
Bathing suits for babies (infants) are sold in the gift shop. Unisex types are available in 3 sizes of 80, 90, and large. Each pair is 200 yen.
Inflatable floatation rings (children and adult sizes) are available for use in the pool when swimming with children. Contact the front desk for use.
Swimming floatation arm rings for babies are available. Contact the front desk for use.
Inflatable leg rings are available for small children to wear on the thighs. Contact the front desk for use.
Kick boards are available for elementary school aged children. Contact the front desk for use.
Pool side chairs for children have been provided at the heated indoor pool to give parents an anxiety-free, relaxing time with their children.
The karaoke room is large enough for about 20 people (36 m2) and is equipped with a karaoke system featuring a dynamic 43-inch screen. The room is also equipped with a massage chair, baby bed, picture books, and toys for your family's added enjoyment. A selection of 100,000 songs from around the world is available including animated nursery songs for children to enjoy with their family. (3,000 yen/hour).
Families and couples can enjoy billiard games. Beginners who are not familiar with the rules of billiards or the use of a cue can request assistance at our front desk. We have staff available to provide free lessons for beginners. (1,200 yen/hour)
VCR, DVD, and CD players are available for free rental. When a child has a favorite video, DVD, or CD, please make sure to ask the front desk concerning availability. (1 player each)
The recreational games of Othello, Shoji, and Go are available for free rental. Playing cards are on sale for 1,000 yen per deck. Please inquire at the front desk.
Although Arima Onsen is located in the City of Kobe, the evening skies are crystal clear.
Why don't you search for stars with your family? You can identify them by using our illustrated book of star constellations that is located in the Picture Book Corner.
UFO Catcher and several other video games are provided for families to enjoy after taking a bath.
